Big Cat Bungalows at The Haven - Lion 3

Great stay. Positive: The concept is truly unique and something that I feel like I never would have expected to be in New York state. The check-in process was easy. The rooms were exactly as described. It's pretty amazing to just be laying in bed or eating your breakfast and being able to see the Lions Right outside your window. Negative: They don't really have any food on site but they are working on that with possibly bringing a restaurant at some point in the future. With that being said, they did have a vending machine right by the rooms, however it was basically empty . Just an idea. Maybe getting another vending machine or another choice of any machine would also be good just in case you need something in the middle of the night.

Amazing from start to finish. Took my gf here for her birthday. Jaw dropping experience. Incredibly unique. The bungalow was clean, way bigger than I expected and just beautiful. The animals were active. Got great photos. Firepit and s’mores were a bonus. 10/10

So initially finding The Haven in the daylight was a bit challenging, so I'm sure at night would be difficult. Other than that it was absolutely amazing. It was clean and the lions were extremely active. They called and moved our room before we arrived as the lions were hanging out by room number two. And, we sure did appreciate that. We will definitely be coming back..

This experience was mind blowingly amazing and unforgettable! Words will not do it justice and pictures (while spectacular) are only superficial. It must be experienced in person. My husband and I booked this bungalow as part of our 20th anniversary year celebration. Gabby and Dana made sure that our stay was perfect. The bungalow is spacious, well equiped and the decor is beyond amazing for videos and pictures. Being part of a lion pride for our stay was truly magical! They are cats and do nap a bit but in between naps they entertained to an infinite degree. It was a nice night out so they stayed in the yard roaring, wrestling, chasing each other, running back and forth right in front of the windows and banging their tails against the glass as they turned to race back in the other direction for more mayhem. The feeling of opening one eye in bed and seeing 4 lions run by 15 feet away from your head is monumental and will stay with me forever. The views at dawn, dusk and with the lights on were also spectacular! Tip - bring lunch, dinner and breakfast with you so you don't have to leave for a second.
